The sentence below from Chapter 1’s final exercise has the wrong nikkud under the letter Mem.

    6. הַאָמָּן מֶהַיָם.

The artist (is) from the sea.

You should know that I googled “where do Israelis fall on the spectrum from American politeness to German directness?” before providing this feedback. As an American living in Germany, I always find myself explaining the peach-coconut cultural divide in conversation… so I was delighted to learn that Israelis compare themselves to sabra or prickly pear cacti.

Haha, thanks Abigail! Yes, no worries, Israelis are excellent at handling criticism and politeness is strictly optional.

As for the sentence, if you look at the vocabulary sheet for the lesson, it says about מִ that “When it’s followed by הַ, it sometimes becomes “me” (מֵ). This is for ease of pronunciation, but you can use either version.“

Thanks for pointing it out though! Please let me know of any and all errors you find in the future.
