Hi Penny, this is a mistake in the answer, you are correct – there is no “was” in the sentence. Thank you for pointing it out to me, I fixed it now. (The reason for the mistake is it’s a relic of a previous lesson order).

Hey Karin, don’t worry about it. This is exactly why the course is freeform – you can just skip the listening exercises if they aren’t relevant to you. No need to bend over backwards over a task that isn’t that relevant to you anyway. You’re not missing anything by skipping it.
