Hello, my name is Guy. I started teaching Hebrew in 2016, eventually becoming the top-featured tutor on the Verbling teaching platform, where I have taught thousands of lessons to hundreds of students. I quickly discovered that there are no good resources online for Hebrew learners, so I set out to create them myself.
To do that, I relied on my own firsthand experience in seeing what works in language learning, as other than Hebrew I learned English, Arabic, Japanese and Spanish, each using different methodologies. I also utilized my academic background in Cognitive Science and Psycholinguistics, which is the field of study dealing with how humans learn languages, to create science-based learning methods.
The end result is a learning system that aims to make all concepts of Hebrew clear and intuitive, in a fun and easy-to-grasp way. From memory tricks to help with the letters, vowels, and verb conjugations, to explaining how different concepts relate to one another to deepen understanding, this system has been shown to be effective in getting students speaking, reading and understanding Hebrew, with a case study showing the system to be over 7 times more effective than conventional methods.

The foundations course provides great, thorough foundational knowledge. After taking it, you will know everything from writing, to proper use of adjectives, propositions, verb conjugation, construct state, roots and patterns and much more. Many beginner and intermediate students who have taken it said that they are glad they did.
